Terms of Service

These terms govern use of World of Words (the “Service”) at textable.win. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

What the Service provides

World of Words offers dictionary lookups, translations, saved vocabulary, a browser-based PDF reader, games, and links to outside libraries. Dictionary entries and translations come from third parties and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check important information against another source. Outside sites and services have their own terms and policies.

Accounts and acceptable use

You may sign in using Google or GitHub. You are responsible for access to your sign-in account and for activity under your Service account. Do not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, bypass access or rate limits, submit unlawful or abusive material, or violate another person’s rights. We may limit or suspend access when necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Your content and feedback

You may open PDFs that you are entitled to use. The PDF reader processes files in your browser; looking up a word sends that word to the Service. You retain rights in your own content. If you submit a suggestion, you allow us to store and use it to improve the Service. Please do not include sensitive personal information in suggestions.

Paid subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription. The price, billing frequency, and payment provider are shown before you confirm a purchase. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal where available. A subscription renews according to the terms shown at checkout unless you cancel it. You can request cancellation from the app’s subscription controls; access normally continues until the current paid period ends. Cancelling does not automatically refund unused time. Any refund required by applicable law or granted under the payment provider’s rules still applies.

Availability and responsibility

We may change, interrupt, or discontinue features, including third-party integrations. We work to keep the Service available and secure, but provide it without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. To the extent allowed by applicable law, World of Words is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate third-party content or temporary unavailability. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.

Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. We may update these terms as the Service changes. The date above shows when this version took effect. Continued use after an updated version is posted means you accept it, where applicable law allows.
